The Centro di Informazione e Documentazione Arti Visive di Prato (CID/Arti Visive) holds more than 60,000 items, including monographs, exhibition catalogs, magazines, and audiovisual materials.
The collection documents artistic movements from the 20th and 21st centuries and major exhibitions at museums, foundations, and galleries, with special attention to the activities of Centro Pecci.
Active since 1989, the collection has grown through purchases, gifts, and important private donations from critics, publishers, artists, and scholars. It includes recordings of Bruno Munari’s educational workshops and the archive-library of Lara-Vinca Masini.

The CID/Arti Visive Library at Centro Pecci offers a consultation and document supply service for study, research, and professional use.
Access to the Reading Room is limited to a maximum of four people. Booking is required, along with a list of the materials you wish to consult.
