Night Out: Edizioni Brigantino, Elvin Brandhi, Rat Section

Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, NIGHT OUT arrives at Centro Pecci: a two-evening programme curated by Paolo Gabriotti, dedicated to performance, sound experimentation and club music, celebrating the opening of the new Centro Pecci Arena.

On Friday 11 September, NIGHT OUT opens with an evening of performance that reimagines the Arena as a space for encounter and participation: Edizioni Brigantino present Athletic Food, followed by Elvin Brandhi's live performance OWsT, an exploration of voice and sound, and concluding with Rat Section's Press Conference II, a performative "press conference" that closes the evening.

    Artists

Edizioni Brigantino, founded in Milan in 2018 by Valentina Lucchetti and Canedicoda, develops participatory practices through the creation of shared spaces and unconventional formats. Their Athletic Food series combines design, food and music into a hybrid experience centred on encounter and interaction with the audience.

Elvin Brandhi is a poet, sound artist and producer. Her work unfolds over distorted soundscapes and explosive rhythms that become an unstable platform for improvised streams of consciousness. OWsT, connected to the album of the same name released in 2025 by Xing's Xong collection, is an improvisation of electronics and voice that probes the contradictions of lived experience and the limits of language through spoken word, Auto-Tune, field recordings, tape, vinyl, instruments and voice.

Rat Section is a London-based music and performance project. Their work moves between experimental electronics, pop, spoken word and club music, constructing a mythology that deliberately blurs the line between biography and fiction. Originally presented at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris, Press Conference II is a dialogue of distorted rhythms, fragmented voices and electric improvisations that, as in all their performances, merges music, choreography and scenography.
