CineBrividi is Centro Pecci’s film series dedicated to the fantastic, the unsettling and the uncanny. From 15 to 31 October 2026, CineBrividi returns to Centro Pecci Cinema with horror classics, new discoveries, an Italian premiere and filmmaker Q&As.
From horror to thriller, science fiction to Gothic cinema, CineBrividi explores the fears, desires and obsessions that take shape on the big screen. Now in its fourth edition, it has become an eagerly awaited annual event for film enthusiasts and lovers of visionary cinema.
The 2026 edition features three Thursday events and a Halloween marathon, bringing together cult films, new releases and opportunities to meet the filmmakers.
Road to Halloween: Thursday 15 October
6:30 pm — Hokum by Damian McCarthy
9:00 pm — Invisibili by Ambra Principato. The director will be present at the screening.
Road to Halloween: Thursday 22 October
6:30 pm — They Live by John Carpenter
9:00 pm — Punk State by Loris Di Pasquale. The director will be present at the screening.
Road to Halloween: Thursday 29 October
6:30 pm — Train to Busan by Yeon Sang-ho
9:00 pm — It Ends by Alex Ullom
CineBrividi Q&As
Two opportunities to explore the films with their creators: on 15 October with Ambra Principato for Invisibili, and on 22 October with Loris Di Pasquale for Punk State. Both directors will meet the audience before and after their respective screenings, scheduled for 9:00 pm.
Halloween Marathon: Saturday 31 October
Four films, from the afternoon until late into the night, to celebrate Halloween at Centro Pecci Cinema:
4:30 pm — It Ends by Alex Ullom
6:30 pm — The Rocky Horror Picture Show by Jim Sharman. Admission restricted to ages 14 and over.
9:00 pm — Hope by Na Hong-jin. Italian premiere, ahead of its Italian theatrical release on 5 November.
11:55 pm — Scream by Wes Craven
All films in the marathon are screened in their original language with Italian subtitles.
