The music critic and historian Francesco Ermini Polacci presents a lesson on 19th-century Italian opera, one of the main musical expressions of our country and a widespread social phenomenon which was essential for the awakening of a national consciousness. He traces the historical and stylistic evolution which is punctuated with the names of Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti and particularly Giuseppe Verdi.

Every week (Mon and Wed, from 21:00 to 23:00), recognized experts introduce the public to the protagonists and masterpieces of 19th-century art and music and uncover the roots of contemporary culture.
