Centro Pecci presents a new event dedicated to families (recommended age: 6–11 years) featuring the acclaimed artist and illustrator Arianna Papini, winner of the 2018 Andersen Award.

During the workshop, children will have the chance to preview Papini’s new publication, COSO e gli altri (Uovonero, 2025): a project composed of two works (a picture book and an illustrated novel) connected by the theme of the transformative power of art.

    COSO e gli altri

Following the success of Nessuno sa, Arianna Papini returns with an intense and poetic story that explores growth, diversity, and imagination as tools for self-discovery.

“Coso”, the picture book, follows the story of Anna, a girl aware of her own uniqueness, and her imaginary friend Coso, who accompanies her through childhood and adolescence, helping her face bullying, loneliness, and fear with creativity and courage.

In the illustrated novel “E gli altri”, Anna is now grown up and revisits her story like in an intimate diary, where the real world and Coso’s imaginary world intertwine—revealing how art can become a language of freedom and self-expression.
