The exhibition showcases the workshop designed for young participants and led by the artist Raffaele Di Vaia together with the art therapists from EDA Servizi, from October 2025 to March 2026.
Where does a drawing begin? Is a single dot already a drawing?
The workshop involved young participants, divided into two age groups, in exploring the line as the boundary of drawing, discovering that within that boundary lies a whole universe!
Through art, the young people have been able to discover new ways of coping with the stage of development they are currently going through and, by experimenting with different materials and techniques, explore their own creative and resilient side.
CENTRO PECCI ART LAB is an innovative project aimed at teenagers and young adults, offering workshops focused on the arts, ranging from drawing to painting and sculpture, and from photography to new media. The workshops, which are completely free of charge, take place on Friday afternoons for both age groups (13–15 and 16–19), and participation is open to anyone interested in the arts and keen to embark on a journey of self-discovery through art.
The project is coordinated by Centro Pecci together with Servizio SMIA (Salute Mentale Infanzia e Adolescenza) of the Ausl Toscana Centro and made possible thanks to the support of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Prato and to the operational support of EDA Servizi.
