I Wish You Could See Me is an artistic project that sheds light on the femicides that occurred in Tuscany between 2014 and 2025. Through a sequence of photographs and narrative texts, the exhibition restores memory, dignity, and presence to the victims, counteracting the invisibility that too often surrounds gender-based violence.
The project brings together the photographs of Arianna Senesi and the writings of Anna Bardazzi, forming a powerful and intimate dialogue. Their work invites visitors to confront a painful yet necessary reality, transforming the exhibition space into a place of awareness and reflection.
The initiative is part of a broader awareness campaign promoted by the La Nara Anti-Violence Center and Autolinee Toscane, with the Centro Pecci serving as a cultural partner committed to amplifying the message through contemporary artistic practice.
Hosted in the Project Room, the installation encourages an encounter with stories that must not be forgotten, reminding us that art can play a central role in exposing silence and fostering collective responsibility.
A Project Extending Into the City
Alongside the exhibition, a selection of works will also be displayed on buses within the Prato public transport network, thanks to Autolinee Toscane’s collaboration. The images and words of the women will travel daily through the city, transforming public transportation into a space of engagement and awareness.
