An entire day dedicated to contemporary art in Tuscany: this is the core of the event “Contemporary Art: A Look at the Present and Future Perspectives,” which will take place on Tuesday, March 17, starting at 9:15 a.m., at the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato.
An opportunity to take stock of the state of the visual arts across the region and to announce the results of the Toscanaincontemporanea 2025 call.
At the heart of the event will be the presentation of the 55 winning projects, selected through the regional call dedicated to contemporary visual arts, supported with €400,000 in regional funding.
But that’s not all: there will also be space to explore other ongoing and upcoming initiatives funded by the ESF+ 2021–2027, which allocates around €8 million for the implementation of artist residencies and professional training programmes during the 2025–2027 period.
Both initiatives are part of Giovanisì, the project of the Tuscany Region aimed at supporting young people’s independence, and will be addressed to young people up to the age of 35, with the goal of fostering the professional growth of new generations of artists and cultural practitioners across Tuscany.
The event can also be followed via live streaming at the following link.
