Equinozio di primavera è un progetto di calendario condiviso che promuove le principali attività e i maggiori eventi di arte contemporanea in Toscana, concentrati in periodi definiti dell’anno, come le prime due settimane della primavera e dell’autunno.
The initiative brings together museums, contemporary art centres, foundations, independent spaces, private collections and site-specific projects across the region, offering a broad and articulated view of Tuscany’s contemporary art scene. The programme includes exhibitions, installations, permanent collections and site-specific projects distributed between cities and landscapes, from the coast to inland areas.
The aim is to share and disseminate relevant information about public institutions and private organisations active in the field, representing the most advanced cultural offering in the region. The project seeks to create a cohesive system for contemporary art in Tuscany, enhancing its communication while fully respecting the curatorial and managerial autonomy of each participating institution.
Spring Equinox includes a programme of events from 21 March to 4 April 2026 and is promoted, integrated and updated through the websites of the participating artistic and cultural venues, coordinated by the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci.
You can view and download the full calendar to discover all participating venues, opening hours and events.
