The Centro Pecci School ARTE and CINEMA returns with a programme of lectures and talks dedicated to contemporary art and cinema, with a specific focus on the artistic and cinematic languages of the 1980s and 1990s—two crucial decades for understanding the cultural, social and aesthetic transformations that continue to shape the present.
The programme will run from January to May 2026, with weekly meetings held every Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Through a dialogue between history, criticism and artistic practices, the School will explore key themes, works and critical perspectives that marked the transition to contemporaneity.
This year’s edition will be led by university lecturers, researchers, doctoral candidates, and leading figures from the national and international academic scene.
The programme is designed both for those approaching these subjects for the first time and for those wishing to further develop and deepen their critical perspective.
