Wednesday, December 10 at 6:30 PM, the gallery Martina Simeti (via Seneca 4/6, Milan) will host the presentation and book signing of Davide Stucchi. Light Lights, published on the occasion of the artist’s first solo exhibition in an Italian institution, the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato.
During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the book and raise a toast with the artist.
The publication accompanies the exhibition dedicated to the luminous sculptures Stucchi created between 2019 and 2025: a journey that explores the nature of light as matter, presence, and interference, capable of transforming the exhibition space and reshaping the perception of the visitor’s body. A constellation of luminous forms and intensities creates an immersive environment made of subtle variations, gestures, and rhythms.
The volume features critical essays by Stefano Collicelli Cagol, Laura McLean-Ferris, Sabrina Tarasoff, Alessandro Pasero, and Michele D’Aurizio, along with detailed entries and images of the works on view, offering a comprehensive insight into the exhibition and the artist’s most recent practice.
