Being a member provides an
opportunity to participate in the life of the museum and its various
programmes. Members receive information on all the museum's initiatives
and a number of benefits such as free admission to exhibitions and
initiatives organized by the Events Department, a 10% discount on
in-house publications, a discount on events in the Education Department
programme, and the chance to go to meetings and events organized
for museum members.
The statute of the centre declares that an ordinary member is any
natural or juridical person who furthers the pursuit of the association's
objectives through contributions, donations, loans of works and
such like. Ordinary member status is acquired following due deliberation
by the centre's board of management.
Ordinary members, except those who loan works for the pursuit of
the aims of the association, are required to pay an annual membership
fee which is determined by the board of management. Failure to make
such payment results in expiry of membership, which is ruled by
