EDUCATION
The Pecci Centre's didactic section, which has been active since 1988, aims at promoting awareness of contemporary art through special programmes devised for children, the school and university systems and the public at large.

Its content is arranged over a broad spectrum of services ranging from laboratories, guided tours, conferences and meetings, workshops for teachers and specialists, internships for students, to experimental projects for schools, libraries and other bodies.

The many activities that the Centre carries out regularly provide a lot of different ways for getting to know more about museums and the art of today by continually experimenting with methods and language.

The didactic section is particularly attentive to the relationship with the surrounding area and its cultural life so as to satisfy the specific demands of school syllabuses and cultural associations while, at the same time, welcoming synergies with the wider community of international culture so as to stimulate reflection on the part of both an interested public and also of specialists.

As a completion of its activities, and also as a means of reviewing its projects, the didactic section has a line of publications (games, play-books and educational works).
Through its educational programme, the Centre aims to be a stimulating tool for understanding the present day.
